The COVID-19 pandemic brought unprecedented challenges into the lives of children and families, particularly those from vulnerable and underserved communities. With livelihoods disrupted, access to essential resources affected and uncertainty becoming a part of everyday life, many families struggled to meet even their basic needs. During such difficult times, extending support and standing together as a community became more important than ever.

The FHI COVID Relief Initiative aimed to support children and families affected by the pandemic by providing essential relief and resources during a time of crisis. The initiative was an effort to bring hope, care and timely assistance to those who needed it most, while reminding them that they were not alone in navigating these challenging times.
